Poetry: What Noise, What Music?

Hustle and bustle of the crowd
Chit-chattering of men and women around
Shifting of boxes and crates alike
Storming of doors after a fight loud

Stoking of engines perennially on
Flight of planes at dusk and dawn
Honking of the buses and cars all day long
Grass-cutter working busy at the lawn

Constant sweeping of fallen leaves
Relentless regrets and whines
Falling of books off the shelves
Fluttering blooms, on them buzzing bees

Screeching of crickets at night
Jingle of bells curing the baby’s cry
Tremendous roar of waves at the shore
Pomp show of the alarm clock after a moonlit bright

What noise, what music?
