Poetry: All Through Your Life

The touch of the wind
When sweeps across your face
In the suddenness of time
The pretty many things
One’s reminded of and
Memories: vibrant and kind…

That one, simple moment
The great thinkers do
Envelope your mind’s timidity
Wandering among the
Deeds of the past
You smile at your puerility…

Oh! The years did roll by
In wonderful amazement
You gaze & ponder
When ought you to jump
And toil in gaiety
Letting time flow generously…

When all the vividness
Sweeps across gushing
Of pals and achievements
And landscapes everlasting
Invigorating inevitably
The gloominess of this time…

How reality plays its part
You gasp in utter surprise
At the audacious self
Yes! You once were
Pushing the limits with all your might
To reach the zenith seeming not so high…

The zest then has been
Mellowed by the sobriety of age
It’s only too human to
Give in to the ready comforts
Life offers you
Once in a long while…

The cycle of life
Will surely go on
You a mere part of the game
Live the dreams of your past henceforth
Play yourself with
Panache and head held high !

      1. I feel the same. It’s amazing that you can talk to someone and have a positive affect on someone on the other side of the world. If the whole world was on wordpress and talking to each other as equals, we wouldn’t have any problems.
